Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know I can trust you?
I would never trust somebody based purely on what is written on a website. Neither should you! Welcoming a stranger into your personal financial affairs is scary. My hope is that my website has given you some comfort about who I am, what I do, and how I work. Although you will not know this until you work with me, my honesty and integrity are my greatest strengths. More than anything else, my spiritual compass is what drives me.

Additionally, my CPA certification is an outward symbol of trust and professionalism. It binds me to a standard of ethics and rules of professional conduct that require the highest level of integrity. I am a member in good standing of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM). Each of these organizations has its own rules and ethical requirements to promote high standards within its profession.

What if I want to learn more?
Fill out the form on the Contact Me page or give me a call at 281-968-1834. I offer a 20-minute introductory consultation free of charge. This consultation will allow us to get to know each other and discuss how I may be able to help.  If we decide to move forward in working together, I will issue a formal engagement letter that lays out the details and terms of the services to be provided.

How do you price your services?
I typically charge an hourly rate that may vary based on the details of the services to be performed. We will discuss pricing for your specific services during our introductory consultation.

Can I continue to use my own financial and legal advisors?
Absolutely! I am happy to work with your existing financial advisors, attorneys, tax accountants, and/or other advisors as the need arises. Engaging me does not take the place of these professionals. I consider myself as part of the team that supports your existing relationship with them.
