About Me

Angela Vickerman

FamilyI graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) and a Master of Science degree in Finance in 1999, becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 2002. I spent the first 15 years of my career at one of the Big Four accounting firms until a cancer diagnosis within my family caused me to reconsider my priorities. After much prayer and reflection, I decided to shift my focus away from the corporate world and more toward the people I loved. In a true leap of faith, I walked away from my career with no plans other than to fully devote myself to my family and trust God to guide my next steps.

I spent a very enlightening year away from the working world. Following the successful treatment of my loved one, I dove into daily life with my family, discovered new hobbies and interests, and spent time on the things and people that mean the most to me. Over time, I slowly began to ponder ways to use my professional skills to help others while still putting my family first.

In early 2015, an unexpected client opportunity presented itself as I started working with an adult son and his parents on some of his parents’ day-to-day money management needs. It gave me a real sense of peace and fulfillment to be able to help others in such a meaningful and personal way. This led to the next step in my career – starting my own firm and serving others who can benefit from Daily Money Management services.
